This year’s 12 Days of Christmas Cookies is an amazing group of sugar cookies, Italian cookies and chocolate cookies! Phew!
While it seems like quite a task to bake a dozen different Christmas cookies, it has it’s benefits!
- Don’t worry about the cookies going bad, they freeze very well!
- With a dozen different cookies, everyone should find something they like!
- Keep decorative boxes to pull together a gift box of cookies! To reciprocate the unexpected gift or just to share with friends and neighbors! Everyone loves cookies!
Let’s talk the highlights!
This year the Easy Award goes to these Rum Balls! This no bake cookie is made with vanilla wafers, cocoa and, of course, rum! What’s easier than a no bake cookie?!?
This year the Fun Award goes to these Spritz Cookies! They are soft and buttery sugar cookies made in all kinds of fun and festive shapes. If you don’t have a cookie press, I highly recommend purchasing one!
And last but certainly not least, the Pretty Award goes to these Holiday Sugar Cookies! This is my go to recipe for every holiday, just add the cookie cutter of your choice! This year I am obsessed with this snowflake shape!
