How to Make Sheet Pan French Toast:
This is such an easy way to get breakfast on the table! Slice up that day (or two or three) old bread. You may not have 8 slices but maybe 6 or 10, either way it works. I try to keep them somewhat thick, so about 3/4 inch each.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract and ground cinnamon.
Dip each side of each slice in the egg mixture. Place on the parchment lined pan. If you happen to have more slices, you may need a second sheet pan.
Once you have dipped all the slices and arranged in the pan, dust with some more cinnamon, if desired. A lot of time the cinnamon ends up on the first couple of slices and leaves the other kind of bare.
Bake for 15 minutes and then flip each slice. Bake for another 15 minutes. Serve immediately with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar, if desired. These slices can also be stored and reheated later!
Hope you enjoy!
