How To Make One Pot Cabbage Roll Skillet
In the true spirit of a one pot meal, this dish is so simple to make! I use a large skillet with a lid, but if you don’t have one, use a lid from a large stock pot.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the lean ground beef, minced garlic, 1/2 tsp of the garlic powder and 1/2 tsp of italian seasoning. Stirring occasionally, cook until beef is cooked through, about 5 – 10 minutes.
Next, add the diced tomatoes, beef broth, uncooked rice and the remaining italian seasoning, garlic powder and salt and pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a low boil.
Then add the chopped cabbage, gently combine into the beef mixture, reduce temperature to medium-low or low and cover. Cook covered for about 20 minutes or until rice is cooked and cabbage has wilted.
Serve topped with grated parmesan cheese. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container. This also makes great meal prep!
Hope you enjoy!
