How To Make An Aperol Spritz:
This cocktail recipe is for one glass but it doubles and triples easily! But really it’s made one at a time! This is a popular Aperitif in Venice and I enjoyed plenty when I was there! An Italian bitter, Aperol is made from gentian, rhubarb, and cinchona. It’s such a refreshing beverage!
Ok, let’s get to making it. There is really nothing to it! Fill a wine glass (or two) with ice. Of course, you can use any type of glass or even a solo cup! Using a measuring glass, add the Aperol, then prosecco and top it off with the club soda!
If you wish, garnish with an orange slice and a fun straw! You can also garnish with a lemon or lime, but the orange really captures the cocktails flavor.
Now sit back, put your feet up and just imagine sit along the canals in Venice!
Hope you enjoy!
