How To Make Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. I use 9 x 13 aluminum foil pan lined with parchment for super easy transport to parties and tailgates. Plus, it makes clean up a cinch! But a 9 x 13 casserole dish works great as well!
First, make the mini hamburgers. Line a sheet pan with parchment for easy clean up, form twelve mini burgers, trying to get them close to the same size. If you are using a pound of ground beef, each patty should be just slightly more than one ounce.
Place the burgers on the parchment, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder and bake for 10 – 12 minutes. Try not to overcook, they will go back into the oven for another 15 minutes later.
While the burgers are cooking, slice all the rolls in half horizontally and arrange the bottoms in the parchment lined baking pan. Now I have done this both ways, but you can separate the rolls or keep them together. In the photo above, I have separated them prior to baking. To do that, separate the bottoms before adding the burgers and cheese.
When the burgers are done, remove from oven and place one on top of each bottom roll. Now, place two pieces of bacon on top of each burger. I cut each slice of bacon into thirds to make mini slices.
Next, break or slice each of cheese slices into quarters and place two pieces on top of the each burger. Place the tops of the rolls on top of the cheese.
In a small bowl or glass measuring cup, melt the butter and stir in the garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce. Using a pastry brush, spread the butter mixture on top of each slider. You can also pour the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the sliders if you don’t have a pastry brush. Then sprinkle the tops with sesame seeds.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are browned. Enjoy immediately!
