How to Make Baked Spaghetti:

Honestly, this is one of my favorite childhood meals and it will be your new family favorite! Preheat oven to 350 and lightly grease a 13 x 9 casserole dish with cooking spray.

Cook the spaghetti or angel hair according to the packaging. I used angel hair, I like the lightness of the pasta for this recipe compared to traditional spaghetti noodles. But either one works great.

Once the pasta is cooked, strain and place in the greased casserole dish. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Pour the egg mixture over the pasta and toss together to coat. Arrange the noodle mixture in a even layer in the casserole dish.

Now, use your favorite homemade or store-bought spaghetti sauce. I always keep some on hand or in the freezer. The sauce doesn’t need to be hot or warm but it should not be frozen.

Pour the spaghetti sauce evenly on the top of the pasta in the casserole dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the top of the sauce.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Garnish with Italian parsley and grated cheese, if desired.

Enjoy!
