Baked Spaghetti Squash

What can make Spaghetti Squash even better? Marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese! Baked Spaghetti Squash is all the goodness of baked pasta but without all the carbs!

Baked Spaghetti Squash

Start with Roasted Spaghetti Squash.

Spaghetti Squash

Add your favorite marinara sauce or check out this Simple Tomato Sauce recipe.

Spaghetti Squash

Add a tablespoon of grated Pecorino-Romano or Parmesan cheese on top of sauce.

Spaghetti Squash

Lastly, add shredded mozzarella cheese.

Spaghetti Squash

Bake at 350 degrees for 5 – 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Serve immediately and enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 1 Roasted Spaghetti Squash (divided)
  • 1 cup Marinara (divided)
  • 2 tbsp Grated Pecorino-Romano Cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (divided)
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Place Roasted Spaghetti Squash on foil lined sheet pan. 

  3. Add 1/2 cup of Marinara to each Spaghetti Squash half.

  4. Add 1 tablespoon of Pecorino-Romano to each half.

  5. Add 1/4 cup of shredded Mozzarella to each half.

  6. Bake for 5 – 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  7. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes
  • If you roasted the spaghetti squash on a previous day, extend the baking time to 20 minutes.
