How to Make Biscuit Cinnamon Rolls:
These cinnamon rolls come together really quickly! I use a sheet of parchment for less clean up, but you could also use a rolling mat.
Preheat the oven to 350. Lightly grease a round cake or pie pan with cooking spray or use a cast iron skillet.
Arrange the refrigerated biscuit dough on the parchment or rolling mat in 2 rows. Use a rolling pin to flatten and roll together the biscuits. Pinch the seams if needed to seal.
Spread the melted butter on top the rolled dough, don’t worry, there will be leftover butter that we will use on the tops. Mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle over the top of the melted butter.
Starting from the long edge, roll up the dough into a log. Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 12 equal pieces.
Arrange the cut pieces in the pan, swirl side up. It’s ok that they aren’t touching, they will need room to grow when baking. Brush the tops with the remaining melted butter.
Bake for 20 – 23 minutes, if using a cast iron. If using a metal or glass pan, the increase the time to 25 minutes.
Remove the rolls from the oven. In small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk. The icing will be thick but will melt on the hot rolls. Serve immediately!
