How To Make A Blueberry Dutch Baby
If you have never made a dutch baby, prepared to be amazed at how easy it is! All you really need is a blender and a cast iron skillet, which makes clean up a snap! If you do not have a blender, the ingredients can very easily be mixed by hand.
First, preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Place your cast iron skillet or oven-safe skillet in the oven so it preheats with the oven.
Now, place the eggs, milk, flour and sugar in the blender and mix until smooth. Remember, you are essentially making pancake batter.
Once the oven is preheated, carefully place the butter in the hot skillet and keep in the oven until the butter is melted. Don’t let the butter burn.
Once melted, carefully remove the oven pour the batter into the pan and scatter the blueberries on top. I used fresh blueberries. Return to the oven for 20 minutes and watch it puff up! If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Slice and serve immediately with maple syrup.
Hope you enjoy!!
