This Broccoli and Mushroom Grain Bowl is a simple and flavorful weeknight night dinner. Healthy stir-fried broccoli and mushrooms paired with farro, quinoa or brown rice! Also, perfect for meal prep! Ready in minutes!
Ingredients Needed For Broccoli and Mushroom Grain Bowl:
- Olive Oil
- Broccoli
- Baby Bella or White Button Mushrooms
- Yellow or White Onion
- Soy Sauce
- Rice Wine Vinegar
- Grated Ginger
- Minced Garlic
- Chili Garlic Sauce (optional)
- Water
- Farro, Quinoa or Brown Rice
- Sesame Seeds (optional)

How to Make Broccoli and Mushroom Grain Bowl:
This grain bowl is quick and easy to make! Promise! The trick to making it even quicker? Bagged broccoli florets, pre-sliced mushrooms and 90 second farro, quinoa or rice! Takes time out of the prep work!
Let’s get cooking! Heat olive oil in a large skillet oven medium-high heat. Add in the chopped broccoli, mushrooms and onion. Saute for a few minutes, being careful to not burn the broccoli. Add in the water and cook until the water in almost gone. You can also top with skillet with a lid here to speed up the steaming.
Now for the sauce, add in the soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, grated ginger, minced garlic and chili garlic (if desired). Stir and cook for another few minutes. Meanwhile, if you are using the 90 second pouch for your grains, heat them up.
Place grains in a bowl(s) and top with broccoli and mushroom stir fry. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

Broccoli and Mushroom Grain Bowl

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz baby bella or white button mushrooms, sliced
- 8 oz broccoli florets
- 1/2 small yellow or white onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 3 – 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp chili garlic sauce (optional)
- 8 oz 90 second farro, quinoa or brown rice
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive over medium-high.
- Add in onion, broccoli, mushrooms and saute for a few minutes.
- Add in the water and steam the veggies.
- After a few minutes, mix the sauce ingredients, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger and chili garlic sauce.
- Stir and cook for a few more minutes, meanwhile heating the 90 second pouch.
- Place the grains into bowls and top with the stir fry.
- If desired, garnish with sesame seeds.
