Chocolate Chunk Bars

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9 x 13 pan.
  2. Mix melted butter and light brown sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Lastly, beat in the flour.
  5. Stir in chocolate chunks by hand.
  6. Spread mixture into lightly greased pan.
  7. Bake 22 – 25 minutes.
  8. Let cool 15 -20 minutes before cutting.
  9. Enjoy!

Notes

  • I used a glass baking dish instead of metal or ceramic but all will work, but you may have to adjust your baking time.
  • Bars will appear to be soft but if they edges are brown they are done.
  • You can find packaged chocolate chunks with the chocolate chips in your local grocery store. If not, roughly chop baking chocolate bars.
  • In this recipe I used Dark Chocolate Chunks.
  • Makes 24 bars or you can cut them into larger squares.
  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Bars freeze well.
