How To Make Chocolate Peppermint Gooey Butter Cookies
If you are a chocolate peppermint lover, these cookies are for you! And you won’y believe how easy they are to make!
Pre-heat your oven to 375 and line a sheet pan with parchment. In a large bowl, mix the softened butter and cream cheese with a hand mixer.

Next beat in the egg and vanilla until well incorporated. Then beat in the dry devils food cake mix. Then, using a cookie scoop or tablespoon form dough into one inch balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheet.
Continue with remaining dough. I baked these in two batches but if you have two sheet pans you can do them all at once. If you do them in batches, I suggest letting the sheet pan cool for a few minutes before adding the cookie dough so it doesn’t start to melt.

Bake for 11 minutes and transfer cookies to cooling rack, dust with confectioners sugar. Continue if making in batches.
Hope you enjoy!
