This Cinnamon Quickbread will fill your house with the smell of fall! It’s so easy to make and ready in an hour! It’s perfect for weekend mornings, brunches or as a snack cake!
This Cinnamon Quickbread is so perfect with a cup of hot tea or coffee! Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds for a warm and comforting snack!
Let’s get started, preheat your oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a loaf pan or line with parchment.
In a large bowl, beat together crisco and sugar. Then add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Alternate, half of the dry ingredients and buttermilk until all ingredients are completely incorporated.
In a small bowl, mix the ground cinnamon and sugar for the filling and topping.
Spread a third of the batter in the bottom of the greased and/or parchment lined loaf pan. Sprinkle a third of the cinnamon sugar. With a butter knife give it a little swirl. Then continue layering the batter and cinnamon sugar, finishing with the cinnamon sugar on top. Using the butter knife, swirl in the cinnamon sugar and leave with a nice pattern on top.
Bake for 55 – 60 minutes checking with a toothpick at 55 minutes. The baking time may vary depending on type of pan used.

Then alternating, beat in half of the sifted flour and dry ingredients and half the buttermilk.

In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.

In the greased loaf pan, spread 1/3 of the batter and sprinkle with a 1/3 of the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Continue alternately in thirds, ending with the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.

Using a butter knife, swirl the mixture through the loaf.

Bake for 55 – 60 minutes, checking with a toothpick.
