- 1 pkg refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Icing
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Unroll the crescent rolls on top of a piece of parchment, trying to keep the sheet in tack.
- Use a rolling pin, and gently roll to seal on the seams together.
- Brush the top of the dough with the melted butter, reserving the remaining butter for later.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugars. Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mixture on top of the melted butter.
- Starting on the long side, roll the dough into a log.
- Using a sharp knife or pastry cutter, cut the dough down the center.
- Turn the halves facing upward so you can see all the layers, then twist together.
- Once twisted, connect the ends to make a circle. Pinch to seal the ends together.
- Brush the top with the remaining melted butter. Slide the parchment with the wreath onto a sheet pan.
- Bake at 375 for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Whisk together the powdered sugar and milk.
- Using a spoon or the whisk, drizzle over top of the warm pastry. Serve immediately!
