How To Make Dark Chocolate Crumb Bars

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 13 x 9 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Then beat in the flour and sugar until the mixture is crumbly. Press two cups of the crumb mixture into the greased baking dish. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes or until lightly golden.

While the crust is baking, combine the 1 1/2 cups of the dark chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a medium saucepan. Over low heat, melt together while stirring until smooth. Remove chocolate mixture from heat and stir in vanilla.

When done baking, remove crust from oven and evenly spread chocolate mixture on top of crust. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over top of chocolate and then add the reserved dark chocolate chips and chopped walnuts if desired.

Bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until lightly browned.

Hope you enjoy!
