- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 12 oz dark chocolate chips, divided
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 13 x 9 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter until creamy.
- Beat in flour and sugar until mixture is crumbly.
- Measure 2 cups of crumb mixture into the greased baking dish.
- Press evenly into the bottom of the dish.
- Bake for 10 – 12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- While the crust is baking, in a medium saucepan, combine 1.5 cups dark chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk over low heat.
- Stir constantly until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- When crust is baked, remove from oven and pour chocolate mixture evenly over crust.
- Evenly spread remaining crumb mixture over chocolate.
- Then sprinkle 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and chopped walnuts on top of crumb mixture.
- Bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until golden brown.
