- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 10 oz. dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 and line a sheet pan with parchment.
- In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese and butter with a hand mixer.
- Mix in egg and vanilla extract.
- Mix in dry cake mix.
- Stir in by hand, dark chocolate chips.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, form dough into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
- Place rolled cookie dough on sheet pan.
- Repeat with remaining dough.
- Bake for 11 – 13 minutes.
- Cool on wire rack.
- Repeat with remaining cookie dough if baking in multiple batches.
