How To Make Easy Beef Fried Rice
Fried rice is easier to make than you think! Plus, it’s ready in no time! Just get all your chopped veggies prepped first. In a large skillet, heat one tablespoon of olive oil over medium to medium-high heat.
Now add the stir-fry beef to the skillet. I have used beef round or skirt steak sliced into stir-fry strips. Most of the time I find this beef already sliced and prepped at my local grocery store.
Add two tablespoons of the soy sauce, the salted butter, garlic powder, sea salt and black pepper to the beef and stir. Cook for 3-4 minutes, beef should cook quickly.
Remove beef from skillet and set aside. Then add the remaining two tablespoons of olive oil to the skillet, finely chopped green onions and sliced mushrooms, stir and cook for 5 minutes.
Next add in the jasmine rice, stir and cook for another 5 minutes. I use the 90 second rice packets, they are such a great shortcut. If you happen to have any leftover cooked white rice, you can use as a substitute.
Top the rice with the remaining 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and chili garlic sauce (optional), stir and also add the beef back to the skillet. Stir and cook for another 2 – 3 minutes.
Add more soy sauce for garnish, if desired and top with more sliced green onions. Serve immediately!
