- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil or canola oil
- 11 oz bottle of guinness stout

- 3 cups confectioners sugar
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 2 9 inch round cake pans, set aside.
- In a large bowl, add all the cake ingredients and beat with a hand mixer until combined.
- Divide batter evenly into the greased cake pans.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Cool on wire rack.
- Once cool, beat all the frosting ingredients with a hand mixer.
- Frost the top of the bottom layer and stack other layer on top. Finish frosting the entire cake.

Notes
- I used dark chocolate cocoa in the cake but regular unsweetened cocoa in the frosting. The dark chocolate cocoa tends to make the frosting look grayish, but you can use either type of cocoa in the cake and frosting.
