How To Make Holiday Blossoms

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla using a hand mixer. Next, add in the flour, baking soda and milk and mix well.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about an hour. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment. If desired, place sprinkles on a plate or shallow dish.

Using a small cookie scoop or teaspoon, roll dough into one inch balls. If using sprinkles, rolls dough balls in sprinkles and place on the lined sheet pan. Leave about 2 inches between cookies.

Bake for about 8 mins, cookies will be light in color and lightly browned on the bottom. Remove from oven and place a chocolate candy in the middle of each cookie, pushing down slightly.

Remove cookies from pan and place on wire rack to cool. Continue rolling and baking remaining dough.

Hope you enjoy!
