- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 4 tbsp salted butter, softened
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix warm water, dry active yeast and a pinch of sugar. Set aside.
- In another small bowl, mix melted butter, eggs and sugar.
- In a large mixing bowl, add flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and egg mixture to the flour.
- Mix by hand or use the paddle attachment, until dough comes together.
- Then knead by hand for 10 minutes or switch to dough hook and knead for 5 minutes.

- Roll out each half, spread softened butter on top of dough using a butter knife.
- Cut the dough into triangles and roll up starting with the wide edge.
- Arrange rolls on parchment lined baking sheet(s). (I used 2 baking sheets).
- Cover rolls with a clean kitchen towel and let rise for 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt remaining softened butter, after 20 minutes, uncover rolls and brush the tops with butter.
