This skillet casserole is a great way to sneak in some healthy additions like veggies and tuna. The flavors are rich, creamy and not overly fishy! A simple option for a weeknight dinner!
You will need a large skillet with a lid for this dish. If you don’t have a lid, you can cover with aluminum foil. In the skillet, heat the cream of mushroom soup, the drained tuna in water, milk, water and butter. I use the soup can to measure the milk and water.
Heat the sauce until it start to simmer and little bubbles appear around the outside edge of the skillet. Add the uncooked fusilli and frozen sweet peas and stir.
Let mixture come to a low boil. Then cover with the lid or aluminum foil and lower heat to simmer. Cook for 15 – 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Cook until noodles are al dente then top with crushed potato chips.
Hope you enjoy!
