How To Make Easy Homemade Pesto
Sometimes you look at your herb garden and see your Basil is out of control! Then you know it’s time to make Pesto. I swear I harvested half of that plant and it’s still out of control!
Place your basil, grated cheese, pine nuts and garlic in your food processor. I decided to use Pecorino Romano because I love it (well, I love ALL cheese), but grated Parmesan works great too.
Place the lid on the bowl and flip your food processor on. Start to slowly pour in the olive oil and process until all ingredients are well blended.
Serve immediately with your favorite pasta. Transfer remaining pesto to an air-tight container and refrigerate for up to a week.
