How To Make Pumpkin Dump Cake

This is one of my favorite fall recipes! It’s just so easy to make and take. To get started, preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the pumpkin, sugar, eggs and evaporated milk with a hand mixer, scraping the sides. Next, mix in the pumpkin pie spice and ground cinnamon.

Spread pumpkin mixture into greased baking dish and sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the mixture.

In a small bowl or glass measuring cup, melt the butter. Pour the butter as evenly as possible over the top of the dry yellow cake mix. Use a butter knife or spatula to gently spread the butter over top of the cake mix. It does not have to be completely covered, but as close as possible, like in the picture below.

Bake for 50 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool a little before serving. This cake can also be made ahead of time and refrigerated. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!

Hope you enjoy!
