- 1 loaf day old bread (French or Italian)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon (plus more for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
- Slice the bread into about 3/4 inch slices.
- Dip both sides of each slice in the egg mixture and place on the sheet pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes, flip each slice and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- If desired, dust with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
