Skillet Steak Fajitas

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, honey and, if desired, chili garlic sauce in a small bowl.
  2. Place skirt steak in a large resealable bag, pour in sauce mixture.
  3. Seal bag and lay bag flat on countertop for 30 minutes.
  4. While the steak is marinating, slice bell peppers and onion.
  5. After 30 minutes, spray a large skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat.
  6. Add sliced bell peppers, onions, salt and pepper.
  7. Cook, stirring frequently for about 5 – 7 minutes.
  8. Push veggies to the outside of the skillet creating a large well for the steak.
  9. Place marinated steak in the middle of the veggies, if needed cut the steak in half or pieces. Discard marinade.
  10. Cook steak for 5 minutes, flip and cook another 5 minutes.
  11. Transfer steak to cutting board and let rest for 3-5 minutes.
  12. Slice steak into 1/4 to 1/2 strips.
  13. Serve with tortillas.
  14. Enjoy!
