- 1 lb skirt steak
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp chili garlic sauce (optional)
- 1 small yellow onion, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- sea salt
- black pepper
- cooking spray
- tortillas
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, honey and, if desired, chili garlic sauce in a small bowl.
- Place skirt steak in a large resealable bag, pour in sauce mixture.
- Seal bag and lay bag flat on countertop for 30 minutes.
- While the steak is marinating, slice bell peppers and onion.
- After 30 minutes, spray a large skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat.
- Add sliced bell peppers, onions, salt and pepper.
- Cook, stirring frequently for about 5 – 7 minutes.
- Push veggies to the outside of the skillet creating a large well for the steak.
- Place marinated steak in the middle of the veggies, if needed cut the steak in half or pieces. Discard marinade.
- Cook steak for 5 minutes, flip and cook another 5 minutes.
- Transfer steak to cutting board and let rest for 3-5 minutes.
- Slice steak into 1/4 to 1/2 strips.
- Serve with tortillas.

- Add 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce to the marinade if you want a little kick.
