This Skinny Ginger Lime Margarita will be your new favorite marg! This lightened up version uses fresh squeezed lime, agave nectar, grated ginger and lime sparkling water! A refreshing cocktail for those sunny days!

- sliver tequila
- fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
- agave nectar
- knob of ginger
- lime sparking water
- ice

How To Make a Skinny Ginger Lime Margarita
I love a cocktail on the lighter side. If you are not the biggest fan of super sweet or sugary drinks, this one is for you! First, a few prep steps, grate the ginger with a microplane grater. You can also you a box grater, the pieces of ginger will just be a little bigger. Then juice the limes, I use this small juicer for making cocktails. So easy plus it has measurements on the side!
Ok, add ice to your glasses and to your cocktail shaker. Add the tequila, agave nectar, lime juice and ginger to the shaker. Shake really well, if you don’t the agave may sink to the bottom.
Pour evenly between the two glasses of ice and top with the lime sparkling water. If you don’t have lime sparking water, you can use plain sparkling water or club soda.
Garnish with a lime wedge and more grated ginger, if desired.

- In a cocktail shaker, add ice, tequila, fresh lime juice, agave nectar and grated ginger.
- Shake vigorously.
- Add ice to two glasses, pour evenly between both glasses.
- Top with lime sparkling water.
- Garnish with lime wedge and more grated ginger, if desired.
