This Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles is the ultimate comfort food. I love anything I can throw in the Slow Cooker and it magically be ready for dinner! And this is no exception, it’s so hearty, comforting and perfect all year round.
I love easy recipes and slow cooker recipes are some of the easiest! This is a two step slow cooker meal. Place all the ingredients into your slow cooker or crock pot except for the noodles. If you placed them in there now, they would just be a mushy mess.
Set your slow cooker to low for 8 hours. But take note of the time or set an alarm, at the six hour mark use a spoon or fork to break apart or shred the chicken.
Now add the frozen egg noodles and stir into chicken mixture.
Continue cooking for another hour or so. Checking at the one hour mark to see if the noodles are done to your liking. I cooked mine for one and half hours. You can also turn your slow cooker to high to cook the noodles a little quicker.
And just like that, your Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles are ready! Another great thing about this meal, it freezes well! I split it up into one cup servings and freeze for an easy lunch or dinner!
Enjoy!
