How To Make Slow Cooker Spicy Beef:
I love a good slow cooker recipe and this one is no exception! Almost any dump and leave it meal is perfect for a weeknight or weekend dinner!
First, let’s brown the chuck roast. My slow cooker has a teflon insert instead of ceramic, but most people will need to use a skillet to brown. Heat the olive oil in the skillet, season the beef on all sides with the garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the beef on all sides just long enough to brown, the meat will cook all the way through in the slow cooker. Once the beef is browned, transfer to your slow cooker.
In a small bowl, whisk together the salad dressing, soy sauce, agave nectar or honey and chili garlic. Pour the sauce over the browned beef in the slow cooker.
Set the slow cooker to cook on low for 6 – 8 hours. Meat will be very tender, shred with two forks in the sauce. The sauce is the best!
Serve over rice with broccoli or spinach. Save leftovers and make quesadillas, tacos or sandwiches! The beef also freezes well to enjoy later!

- Pour sauce over beef.
- Set slow cooker to low for 6 – 8 hours.
- Shred beef with forks and serve immediately.
