How To Make Snickerdoodle Bars
Preheat oven 350 degrees and lightly grease a 13 x 9 glass baking dish with cooking spray, set aside. In a small bowl, mix ground cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of the granulate sugar for the filling and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugars with a hand mixer until combined. Then mix in eggs and vanilla extract. Lastly, beat in all-purpose flour, baking powder and sea salt.
Divide the dough in half inside the bowl and spread one half of the batter into the greased 13 x 9 glass baking dish. Sprinkle ground cinnamon and sugar filling mixture on top of batter. Dollop and spread remaining batter on top of filling. If desired, you can run a butter knife through the batter to make a swirl pattern.
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes, checking at 20 minutes with a toothpick. If the toothpick isn’t clean, bake for 1 – 2 minutes more or until clean. Cool before cutting. Refrigerate or freeze in an airtight container.
