How to Make Spinach Parmesan Pasta:
The Spinach Parmesan Pasta recipe outlined below is for two servings, if you would like a larger portion double the recipe.
Cook the pasta according to instructions. While that’s cooking, heat butter in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat. Sprinkle the flour over the butter and whisk together to form a roux.
Slowly whisk the milk into the roux. Continually whisking until the mixture is smooth and let come to a low boil. Then whisk in the parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Stir in the spinach. Depending on the size of your fresh spinach leaves, you may want to cut into smaller pieces. I use kitchen shears, but slicing with a knife also works well.
Lastly add in the warm pasta and toss together! Serve immediately!
Hope you enjoy!
