- 4 oz pasta, cooked
- 3 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat.
- Sprinkle the flour over the butter and whisk together to form a roux.
- Slowly whisk the milk into the roux.
- Continually whisking until the mixture is smooth and let come to a low boil.
- Stir in the parmesan, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Stir spinach into cheese sauce.
- Add the warm pasta and toss until combined.
- Serve immediately!
