Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
Then beat in the flour.
If you are adding food coloring, separate the dough into separate bowls.
Add 2 or 3 drops of green, red or any color you like until you have the desired color.
Add dough to cookie press and dispense onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 6 minutes.
Transfer to wire rack to cool and continue with remaining dough.
Store in an airtight container.
