How To Make Strawberry Basil Popsicles

Nothing better than a refreshing fruit popsicle on a hot day! And they are so simple to make! You will have popsicles in no time at all! First, halve or quarter the strawberries. You could probably just cut off the stems too, I like to help the blender as much as I can! Also, roughly chop the basil leaves. The measurement is for a cup of fresh basil, that’s not a “packed” cup, just loose leaves.

Ok, in your blender jar, add the strawberries, sugar and water. Pulse until smooth. Then add the basil leave and pulse for about 15 seconds.

Now pour into the popsicle molds. This recipe makes 8 popsicles, make sure not to fill them too high. My molds came with reusable sticks that sit on the top, so if they are too full they won’t sit flush. I realize it looks a little silly to be missing two popsicles but no need to look for an eight count mold!

Ok, once full and sticks are in place, put the mold in the freezer for at least 4 hours.

Hope you enjoy!!
