How To Make Tuna Noodle Casserole
Casseroles are a great way to sneak in some healthy additions like veggies and tuna. The flavors are rich, creamy and not overly fishy! It’s a great option for a weeknight dinner ready in less than an hour!
Get started by cooking the elbow macaroni according the package instructions. For fun, change the pasta shape too!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a square baking dish with cooking spray.
When the pasta is cooked, drain and place right into the baking dish or keep in the pot. Add in the soup, milk, drained tuna, butter and peas. The peas are optional, or you can cook and serve them as a side dish. Stir all ingredients until combined. If you didn’t transfer to the baking dish before do it now.
Top with the shredded cheese and breadcrumbs. You can use crushed potato chips instead of breadcrumbs. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve your Tuna Noodle Casserole immediately or cool and transfer to containers for meal prep. I measure eight one cup servings for 186 calories!
Hope you enjoy!!
