Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 4 oz pasta, cooked
  • 1 tbsp salted butter
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cheddar, shredded

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a deep skillet or saute pan over medium heat.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over the butter and whisk together to form a roux.
  4. Slowly whisk the milk into the roux.
  5. Continually whisking until the mixture is smooth and let come to a low boil.
  6. Whisk in the cheddar until smooth.
  7. Add the pasta and toss until combined.
  8. Serve immediately!
