How To Make Chocolate Covered Pretzels
These pretzels are so tempting, it’s hard to eat just one! Let’s walk through how to make them! To start, place parchment on a sheet pan and place the wire rack on top. If you don’t have a wire rack, you can just place the pretzels directly on the parchment but they might not look as pretty.
Place the milk chocolate melting wafers in a microwave safe bowl and melt according to package instructions. You can also use dark chocolate melting wafers or white vanilla melting wafers. I like using these instead of plain chocolate chips.
Place about half of the pretzels in the bowl with the melting chocolate and gently stir with a spatula. Only placing half at a time helps to make sure each pretzel gets coated evenly.
Using a fork, place each individual pretzel on the wire rack and sprinkle with nonpareils if desired. When the wire rack is full, place in the refrigerator for about 10 minute to set. Then, repeat with remaining pretzels and chocolate. If the chocolate begins to harden, place in the microwave for 10 seconds and continue with the pretzels.
Once set, store in an airtight container.
Hope you enjoy!
