Cake
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups milk (I used 2% milk)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Filling
- 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Icing
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 3 tbsp milk (I used 2% milk)
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a bundt pan with cooking spray.
- In one large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs and vanilla.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredient and whisk together until just combined, don’t over mix.
- In small bowl, mix the spices for the filling.
- Pour 1/3 of batter into bundt pan.
- Evenly sprinkle 1/2 of the filling on top of the batter.
- Add next 1/3 of batter and top with other half of filling.
- Add remaining batter.
- Bake for 25 – 28 minutes checking at the 25 minute mark with a toothpick.
- Remove from oven and turn out onto wire rack, let cool.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the confectioners sugar and milk.
- Drizzle icing over cake.
- Serve and enjoy!
