Classic Pumpkin Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line a loaf pan with parchment or lightly grease.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together sugar, oil, eggs and pumpkin with an electric hand mixer.
  3. Then beat in the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking powder, baking soda and flour.
  4. Stir in the chopped nuts by hand.
  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 60 – 65 minutes, checking with a toothpick at 60 minutes. If toothpick is not clean, continue baking for 1-2 minutes until clean.
  7. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
  8. Enjoy!
