How To Make Double Chocolate Loaf
This is really one of the easiest recipes, it takes no time at all to throw together. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a loaf pan with cooking spray or line with parchment.
In a large bowl, add the Devil’s Food cake mix and the can of pure pumpkin. Combine using a hand mixer, the batter will be a little thick.
Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips with a spoon. Evenly spread the batter into the greased or parchment lined loaf pan and sprinkle two tablespoons of the chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 40 – 45 minutes, checking with a toothpick at 40 minutes. Let cool in pan for about 15 minutes and then carefully transfer to a cooling rack. Slice and serve warm. Refrigerate or freeze in an airtight container. I suggest slicing prior to freezing and separating the slices with wax paper so they don’t stick together.
Hope you enjoy!
