How To Make Easy Homemade Hummus
For this recipe I am using a food processor but you could also use a blender. It may not be as easy to get the hummus out of a blender but a mini spatula works wonders!
There are not a lot of steps to this recipe, but first, make sure you drain and rinse the chickpeas in a strainer. Then add them to the food processor, along with the peeled garlic and the rest of the ingredients.
Pulse the food processor for 30 seconds, then scrape down the sides with a spatula. Pulse again for another 30 seconds. The hummus should be very smooth. If desired, you can add another tablespoon of water if you did not produce your desired smoothness.
Transfer to a bowl or plate and drizzle with olive oil. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 7 days.
Hope you enjoy!!
