This Garlic Ginger Flank Steak is so versatile! Perfect for tacos, salads or with a side of rice and veggies! Plus, give your marinade a little kick with some chili garlic sauce!

Garlic Ginger Flank Steak

I love cooking up a flank steak. It’s so easy to prepare and serve, plus it’s tender and flavorful!

This marinade is so simple, make it spicy or not, it will still wow your family at dinner time! Stir together all the ingredients except for the flank steak in a small bowl. I use fresh minced garlic and ginger but you can find these spices already minced in your local grocery store.

Place the flank steak in a large resealable bag and pour in the marinade. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the meat. Refrigerate for 12 – 24 hours.

Remove the marinaded steak from the refrigerator about 30 – 60 minutes before cooking to bring to room temperature.

Then place the steak on a greased sheet pan or cover pan in foil for easy clean up!

Turn on the broiler in your oven and place the rack on the second from the top notch. Broil the flank steak for 5 minutes on each side. Remove the Garlic Ginger Flank Steak from broiler and let rest on a cutting board for 2 – 5 minutes. Slice the steak crosswise into thin strips.

Serve with rice and veggies or make some awesome tacos!
