Place flank steak in a large resealable bag, set aside.
Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and pour into resealable bag with the flank steak.
Place in the refrigerator and let marinade for 12 - 24 hours.
When ready to cook, remove from refrigerator and sit at room temperature for 15 - 30 minutes.
Set oven to broil and place rack 2nd from the top.
Use a broiler pan or sheet pan covered in foil, place the flank steak on the pan unfolded.
Broil for 5 minutes on each side.
Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
Slice crosswise into thin strips.
