Green Chili Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 box cornbread mix (such as Jiffy)
  • 14.75 oz. can creamed corn
  • 4.5 oz. can diced green chilis
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, mexican blend cheese or jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup salted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, add cornbread mix, creamed corn, shredded cheese and diced green chilis.
  3. In a small glass bowl, melted butter in the microwave for about 30 – 45 seconds.
  4. Pour butter on top of ingredients in the bowl and mix by hand until completely incorporated.
  5. Spread batter into the greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes.
  7. Let cool for 5 – 10 minutes before cutting.
  8. Enjoy!
