Green Chili Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 box cornbread mix (such as Jiffy)
  • 11 oz. can creamed corn
  • 4.5 oz. can green chilis
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese or mexican blend cheese
  • 1/4 cup salted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9 x 9 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, add cornbread mix, creamed corn, cheese and green chilis.
  3. In a small glass bowl, melted butter in microwave for about 30 – 45 seconds.
  4. Pour butter on top of ingredients in bowl and mix by hand until completely incorporated.
  5. Spread batter into greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes.
  7. Let cool for 5 – 10 minutes before cutting.
  8. Enjoy!
