This Irish Cheddar Penne is the perfect comfort food! This stove top version is creamy, cheesy and can be on your table in 30 minutes! Your family will love it!

Irish Cheddar Penne

Everyone loves a warm bowl of cheesy pasta, right?! I love how quickly this Irish Cheddar Penne comes together, you can have it on your table in no time at all!

First, cook the pasta, drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Then add the flour stirring continuously so it doesn’t burn or stick. If you need to, lower the heat to medium-low.

Once that looks combined and thickened, slowly add the milk.

The mixture will look a little lumpy. Keep stirring to work out the lumps.

As you stir continuously, bring the mixture to a low bowl.

Then add the cheeses. Stir until smooth.

Once it’s combined and starting to bubble a little, add the pasta.

Stir the pasta until completely combined with the sauce and your Irish Cheddar Penne is ready!

Serve immediately!

Enjoy!
