These Meatball Subs are a perfect weeknight meal! They are so easy to throw together and can even be made ahead of time!
First, start with your favorite meatballs or try these easy homemade meatballs ready in 30 minutes!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment.
Start with a foot long loaf of French Bread and slice it in half.
Brush each half with olive oil and place in oven for 5 minutes to lightly toast.
Spread a 1/4 cup of the tomato sauce long both sides of the loaf. Try this Simple Tomato Sauce.
Cut the meatballs in half and arrange on one side of the loaf and top with remaining 1/4 cup of tomato sauce.
Add mozzarella, arranging on both sides of the loaf.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Fold the sandwich over and slice.

- 1 Foot Long Loaf of French Bread
- 1/2 cup Simple Tomato Sauce
- 3 Meatballs
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 8 slices Fresh Mozzarella

Cut loaf in half down on the long side.

Brush each side with olive oil.

Place in oven for 5 minutes to lightly toast.

Remove from oven, spread 1/4 cup of Tomato Sauce on both sides.

Arranged sliced Meatballs along one side.

Spread remaining 1/4 cup of Tomato Sauce on top of meatballs.

Arrange mozzarella slices along both sides.

Bake for 10 minutes.
