How to Make Peppermint Bark:

So, you need a quick and easy treat to give as a holiday gift or take to a gathering? Then Peppermint Bark is for you!

Ok, you need three ingredients, a sheet pan and parchment paper. I suggest using a sheet pan or baking dish that will fit easily in your freezer or refrigerator. Line that pan with parchment and set aside.

Melted the dark chocolate using a double boiler. You can also melt in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl, the double boiler melts slower at a lower heat.

Spread the dark chocolate on the parchment in a somewhat even layer. Refrigerate or freeze for at least 30 minutes to an hour, or until the chocolate has hardened.

Then melt the white chocolate in the double boiler or microwave. Spread that on top of the chilled dark chocolate.

In a resealable bag, add the candy canes and crush with rolling pin or wooden spoon. Sprinkle the candy canes on top of the white chocolate. Lightly press the candy into the chocolate so it sets.

Refrigerate or freeze again until set. Once, set break up into pieces and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep fresh.

Hope you enjoy!
