- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup water
- peppermint crunch sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Beat in flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda until combined.
- Add in the water and beat until dough comes together.
- Using a large cookie scoop, portion dough 2 inches apart onto the prepared baking sheet (about 4 – 5 per cookie sheet).
- Bake in the preheated oven until edges of cookies are set, about 12 minutes, add peppermint crunch sprinkles immediately upon removing the cookies from oven
- Let sit for a couple minutes and then transfer to a wire rack.
- Continue with the remaining cookie dough (if using the same cookie sheet, let the pan cool before using or use another sheet pan).
