1/2 cup Salted Butter, softened
1/2 cup Shortening
1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
2 Large Eggs
2 3/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
2 tsp Cream of Tartar
1 tsp Baking Soda

1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
3 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment.
Mix 1/4 cup sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl or plate, set aside.
In a large bowl, beat together butter, shortening and sugar with an electric hand mixer.
Beat in the eggs.
Then beat in the flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
Using a cookie scoop or a spoon, form the dough into 1 – 1.5 inch balls and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Place the cookies on the parchment lined sheet pan.
Bake for 8 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
